JoomSEF includes built-in support of all core Joomla components and JoomFish. 3rd party components are supported via a modular and open API. Currently there are about 60 available JoomSEF SEO extensions which include support of AdsManager, AlphaContent, Datso Gallery, DocMan, EZ Realty, iJoomla Magazine, JEvents, JoomlaBoard, JoomSuite Resource, Mosets Tree, Mosets Hot Property, Marketplace, ReMOSitory, RSGallery2, Seyret Video, SMF (Simple Machine Forums) Bridge, SOBI2, VirtueMart and other Joomla components. Some of the extensions are provided for free, either as part of JoomSEF installation package or in downloads section of our website. Others can be purchased from our E-Shop or delivered by 3^rd parties.

Compatibility

JoomSEF 3.x releases are fully compatible with Joomla! 1.5 in native mode. 3.x versions are not backward compatible with Joomla 1.0. It also supports JoomFish 2.x and many other Joomla 1.5 native or legacy mode compatible components.

JoomSEF 2.x releases support Joomla! 1.0.x versions. They are also compatible with JoomFish 1.7-1.8 installed.

Both JoomSEF 3.x and 2.x will run on Windows and Linux systems and they support both Apache and IIS servers (tested on IIS5, IIS6 and IIS7).

Free vs. Paid JoomSEF

The free version of JoomSEF may contain links to ARTIO webpages. Links are genenerated in the bottom of your site main content block.

Paid version contains no links or references to author. You can get the latest JoomSEF version without author links by purchasing it from our webshop. Users with paid versions are prioritized when answering support questions and troubleshooting. When purchasing paid version you will get free upgrades for 1 year from purchase.
